A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

Girlguiding is the largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women in the United Kingdom. Modern Guiding aims to help them gain the confidence, skills and experiences necessary to broaden their horizons and reach for new goals. We provide a unique girl-only space, promote equality and diversity, are relevant to today’s girls and give them a voice. Along with seeking to know Jesus Christ and to share his love, that is what meeting on a Tuesday night is all about.

Rangers choose their own programme and organise most of it, developing their skills to the maximum. They had a night when they ran the Guide Unit, a Christmas night with all our sections age ranging from 4 to 25 and took part in the Captain Ball competition, narrowly being beaten at Ulster level. Along with a joint night with Guides when we were entertained by an Amazon Jungle Show, including a tarantula! They followed the Ranger programme, completing Octants and enjoying an International meal. The year was rounded off with a Christmas movie, food and PJ’s!

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private benefit.
