All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to
help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they
can make a positive contribution to their Community and the widerworld.

A summary of the Charity's main activities to
further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
The Brownies this year have had fun completing their Brownie Girlguiding programme. They
have done different skill builders, earned interest badges and worked on unit meeting
activities to earn their Theme Awards and Bronze, Silver then Gold section awards.
In December the girls went to Lorne's Winter Adventure and went on a summer residential
outing with the other 97th Belfast Units. where they played outdoor games, had a BBQ and
took part in outdoor activities.
There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private
benefit.
A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission's Public.

All Charity Trustees are aware of the Commissioner's Public Benefit requirement statutory
guidance.

A review of the Charity's financial position at the end of the year
Overall amounts as of 31st March 2023 - £727.51
1 st April 2021 31 st March 2022 - income = £ 762.74
expenditure = £ 696.02
1 st April 2022 - 31st March 2023 - income - £ 1.881.90
expenditure = £ 2,645.06
Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of
the year and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit
Yearly deficit of £763.16, charity trustees planning to raise additional fund through ensuring
all girls pay their subscriptions, fundraising and applying for Gift Aid donations.
