September 2022 to 31 August 2023 A summary of the Charltys maln artlvltles to further its purposes for the publlc benefft and the maln achlevements In the year We began the year with 12 girls followlng a successful recruitment drive. In September our girls enthuslasticallyjolned with Rainbows, Brownles, Guldes and Rangers across Northern Ireland to take part in Girl GuldSn8 Ulsterfs centenary celebration5. As part of this pro8ramme of events girls explored the history of Glrl Guldlng In Ulster by maklng crafts and playing games loved by Brownles In the past, They also looked to the future of Gulding in Ulster by designing their own ideas for a new Brownie uniform. The glrls celebrated Glrl Guiding wlth a centenary party, at which they recelved the bad8e they had earned. We had a very active year for bad8ework, wlth all 8irls worklng together to achleve their promise bad8es and completin8 the 'Performln8' interest badge. They also completed a range of crafts, Includlng sewln8 thelr own 'Chrlstmas creatures, and felt Easter eggs, and enjoyed Glrl Guiding's Unlt Meetln8 Actlvlty games, wlth 'Crazy Comets, provin8 to be a lastlng favourlte. We held our Thlnklng Day Servlce wlth the Ralnbows, Guldes and Ran8ers In the church, after whlch the Brownies hosted the con8re8atlon by servlng shortbread and washln8 dlshes. In Aprll. the Brownle5 enjoyed adventures outslde In the sunny weather, completlng a scaven8er hunt challenge. In May, the glrls celebrated the coronatlon of K5n8 Charles wlth coronation crafts and garnes. The glr15 a150 had the opportunlty to spend the 'tokens' they earned throughout the year In our own 'Brownle shop,. We finlshed the year with a beach themed party. There was no harm flowing from the Charltles purposes and that there was no prlvate beneflt.
