We began the year with 9 girls and grew to 14 during the year through recrubtment. In
September our girls enthusiastically joined with Rainiyiws. Brovmies. Guides and Rangers across
the UK to take part in Girl Guidin<s Future Girl initiative to tsckle plastic pollution. As part of
this programme of events gids made a giant starfish out of their plastic waste, committed to
'plastic promiseg to reuse and recycle. and wrote a letter to their local expressing their
concerns about plastic pollution. Girls also Searnt about elettions and held their own ballot as
part of UK Parliament Week. We had a very actÈve year for badgework. with all girls completing
the Skills Builder'communicate. and the 'Perfonnin¥ interest badge. New Brownies worked
together to achieve their promise badge5. while oldergirls chi)ose to compEete etther'Aviation'
or'Paintin¥ interest badges. Gir15 enjoyed adventures outside of the hall when they joined wtth
Rainbows. Guides and the BOW Brridde to attend their own private screening of the film 'Frozen
2, and on their trip to PLAYZONE. We held our Thinki￿ Day servi￿ with the Rainbows. Guides
and Rangers in the church, after whtch the Brownies hosted the congregation by serving
shortbread and washing dishes. In March we moved to remote provision by sending girls weekly
emails containing an artivity pack with badgework and programme attivities adapted to be
completed at home. which ended with a VE Day tea party at home.
There was no harm fiowing from the Charities purposes and thatthere was no private benefit.
