TACKLING AWARENESS OF MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES (Private company limiied by guarantee without share capital) TRUSTEES, REPORT AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2023 INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORTTO THE TRUSTEES OF TACKLING AWARENESS OF MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. I report on the financial statements of the company for the year ended 31 March 2023 which are set out on pages 8 and 9. This report is made solely to the company's Trustees, as a body in accordance with section 65(3)la) of the Charities Act Northern Ireland 2008 and regulations made under section 66 of the Act. My work has been undertaken so that I might state to the company's Trustees those matters l am required to state to them in an independent examiner's report and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I do not accept or assume responsiblllty to anyone other than the company and the company's Trustees as a body, for my work of thls report. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner As the company's Trustees (and also the directors of the company for the purpose of company law) you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006. Having satisfied myself that the company is not subject to audit under company law, and is eligible for Independent examination. It is my responsibility to.. examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Commission under Section 65(9>(b) of the Charities Act state whether partlcular matters have come to my attention. Basls of Independent Examlner's report I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)Ib) of the Charities Act. My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charlty and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It was also included consideration of any unusu31 items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charlty trustees concerning any such matters. Independent examinerfs statement My role is to State whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe: That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act That there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
