A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

15 girls took part in unit activities. During the year they completed various Girlguiding UK badges including: Civil Engineer and Confectioner. In addition, they took part in Earth Hour and received a badge for this. They also took part in many physical activities, such as, playing captainball and dodgeball, and going on a sponsored walk. They made different crafts throughout the year, including making pompoms, candles and Christmas baubles. In addition, they increased their skills in the kitchen as they learnt to make scones, waffles, doughnuts, cookies and pancakes. They also cooked potatoes on a camp fire. They learnt about World Thinking Day and practised their drama skills by performing at the Church’s birthday celebration. We also held a pretty in pink party where they raised money for a breast cancer charity. Outings for the year included a going to see a Belfast Giants ice hockey match, a trip to the zoo, a trip to the pantomime and going carol singing. They also took part in a scavenger hunt at Belfast Castle. There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit.
