Drumaroad Trustees, Report The Trustees of Friends of St Francis, Primary School, Drumaroad wesent their report and the financial statements for the year ended 5 April 2023. The Trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance wth the Financial Reporbng Standard applicable in the UK and Rèpublic of Ireland(FRS102). OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES We are an active PTA which organises social funthaising events for fhe families and children of the school and we adively volunteer for the school regularly; such as helping al schools sports day, relShments at Confimiation, First Communion. L8av8rs' Day and Carol S8rvlce. Organising and volunt8erlng al the regular events held each year to assist with social fundraising throughout Ihe school, together with any other events or mattèrs to ich can support the school and the families of the pupils within the school. FINANCIAL REVIEW The Annual Financial Statsmenls are attached on pages 5 to 7 in this Report and the Trustees are pleased wilh the results for this financial year. TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILTY STATEMENT The Trustses are responsible for preparing the Trusteés, report and the financial ststomenls in accordance wth applicable law and the United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Prdcfice). Charities 1è9islalion rèquiras the Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year. Under Charities legislalion Ihe Truslees must not approve the financial statements unless they are salisfied they give a true and fair vièw of the stale of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resources including the receipls and payments, of the charity for Ihat year. In preparing these finanal statéménts, the Trustees are required lo: - select suilable accounting poliiies and then apply them consistenlly; -observe Ihe m8lhods and principles in the Charities SORP; -make judgments and accounting esltmates that are reasonable and prudent; -slale ether applicable UK accounting stsndards have been followed. subj8Ct to any material departures disclosed and 8xplain8d in the financial statements. -prepare the financial statements on the going concem basis unl8SS it is inappropriate to presume that the charitable company will continue in operation.
