We also used this app to create a poster of the girls each holding up a word that made up a message asking people to stsy home and stay safe. We had booked to go to Go2020 but because this was postponed we did encourage the girls to take part in the various online activities that were developed by units around the UK. Most of the girls did take part in the monthly Lorne activities through the Girlguiding Ulster Facebook page. Fundraising-we had a fantastic year for fundraising. To cover the cost of taking the girls and leaders to Go2020 we decided to run a weekly Bonus Ball Competition- we would sell a square for £2.50 with the person with the winning number receiving £100 in prize money- we ran this for 8 weeks until we made over £300 in profit which would cover the cost of Go2020. We raised £435 for the Air Ambulance Nl by doing a sponsored walk on the Promenade and nearly £100 for the unit taking part in the 2.6 Challenge.
