Financial Review The 2022 Financial year has again been quite challenging as we try to resume afterthe Coronavirus. pandemic. Church service5 are getting back to normal, but we were unable to hold any fund raising. events throughoutthe year. We now have a new Rectorwhich is a great benefit tothe Parish although expenses were incurred in, bringing the Rectory and the Church up to standard. The overall income has remained fairly constant over the year, but ourexpenses have increased to. coverthe Rettoryrefurb and repairstothe Church. The F.W.Oand donations representedalmost74% of the income. The F.W.O and donations were down in 2022 again this would have been due to a resumption of Services although as in previousyear, some of the congregation self-isolating and some just afraid to Goout forthe fearof catching coronavirus hopefullythiswill improve as more peoplegetvaccinated. The Investmentswhich are held in RCB UnitTru5ts have maintained a reasonable level of income for 2022. The return on the investments income has improved overthe year due to the increase in rates of Interest and hopefully this will continue to give a healthy return on the investment. The main expenseof the charityis the diocesan assessmentwhich accountsfor a considerable part% Of the charities overheads and which increases annually and is quite a drain on resources. The organisation affiliated to the Charity namelythe Seniorcitizens Group is self-financing and did. Not receive any funding from us. Overall, the cash funds have decreasedoverthe financialyearthey still have a considerable amount. Invested which indicates a sound basis forthe charitv.
