RDA ANNUAL REPORT 3 JUNE 2025 Fermanagh Group of Riding for the Disabled 12 June 2024 Charlty No. Nl 104289 The Charity exists to provide therapeutic riding and associated aclivities lo children in the age group 5-13 years old with special needs in the Fermanagh aw. The Principal Address of the Charity and contact for the Charity Commission is Mrs Marina Kidney, 97 Gola Road. Cappy, Tamlaght. Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh BT74 4NQ Our riding sessions are held at the Cafre Campus of the Enniskillen Agricultural College where we use their covered argna for most of the 58Ssions. The Group meets on Tuesday mornings during tenn time. We have 3 Coaches at the present tirne, Barbara Lunny who is both our Head Coach and Regional Coach. Rushelle Kerr and Joan Morton. Rushelle brings Penny and Tomado. Donna Hamill18 In charge of A¢￿sS Nl. Barbara Lunny does the Green Card training for all new volunteers. Maeve Lunny brings Paddy and Maguire. Rushelle brings Penny and Tomado. We have 25 volunteers which is wonderful as not everyone can attend each sesslon We started our year back at Cafre. Enniskillen Agricultural College on 24th September using Ihe Indoor Arena. frk)wever. ￿nce 6th May we have had our RDA sessions at Killyreagh House by kind pemiission of Lord and Lady Anthony Hamilton, who came to our rescue when the College announced that we were not allowed back to the College with our horses due to an outbraak of Equine Herpes. We wer8 abl8 to use th8ir Arena and walks through the lovely grounds at Killyreagh We also hekl our 47th AGM in their Tea Room Our 1st ride each Tuesday is with children from Willowbridge Special School. We had 2 groups of children, 4 before Christmas and 4 different ones after Christmas. Our 2nd ride of the year induded 3 children from the Model School and 1 from Irvinestown Primary School. They came from September until the end of May. At Christmas we held our usual Christmas Party with all the children - plu5 Father Christmas in the College. The children all received Certificates of Prof￿lencY and Rosettes plus Christmas presents. This year the Round Table chose Enniskillen RDA as their Charity of the year. And raised quite lot of money for us some of which will go into thi5 year's accounts and the rest for next year. They held a Pub Qulz In Blakes of the Hollow on 28th November and ralsed £555. On 29th March they held a Murder Mystery Evening in the Enniskillen Hotel and raised £2,487.35. The Group Itself also dld a bucket collectlon In Rooney's shop in Ennlsklllen. and hope to do the same next year. Marina Kidney 3 June 2025
