Sadly, our school year ended abruptly at the beginning of March due to the Covid 19 pandemic. School was legally fOr￿d to close its doors and we were swiftly put into lockdown. We had done our prep work towards Easter competitions and made a purchase of Easter eggs in advance. We were asked to clear anything belongingto the PTA from the school thatwould be deemed as perishable. Maxine and I clearedthe cupboard and relmbursed the PTA account for the Easter Eggs. Anything else was given to kitchen staff to hand out to vulnerable families collertingfood parcels on that day. Although we did not have the year we had hoped for and it ended way too soon. we are grateful forthe support that our charity ha5 received not just from the parents but also the school staff. teachers, kitchen staff. cleaners and caretaker.
