A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

There are 18 girls, aged 7 – 10 years in the unit this year.

They took part in the fun and varied Girlguiding programme, gaining many interest badges and skill builder badges in recognition of their achievements. We worked across all the Girlguiding themes: Know Myself, Express Myself, Be Well, Have Adventures, Take Action and Skills for My Future. Badges earned included: Painting, Performing, Baking and Charities.

We made Promise Flowers and spider hats; learnt about Remembrance Day; made pictures with 100 pennies to celebrate 100 years of Girlguiding. In December we visited Santa & Mrs Claus in their cosy cottage, made crafts and had fun Christmas activities. We celebrated Chinese New Year and held a Burns Night. To finish the year, we completed our Painting badge by visiting the local Pottery class and held a Coronation Party.
