All Girlguiding Ulst¢r Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Byelaws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them
develop emotionally, mentally. physically and spiritually so that they can make a p)sitive
contribution to their Community and the wider world.

A summary of the Charity's main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and
the maln achievements in the year
We have an averoge membership of 8girls during the financial year l April 2018 to 31 March
2019. During the year the Rainbows had the opportunity to work towards their roundabout
badges and start the new Rainbow program of skill builders and unit meeting artivities.
Florencecourt Rainbows held the annual District Thinking Day Celebration5 where we started the
new Skill builders Lead. We took part in the Annual County Lorne Walk at Castlecoole along with
other Rainbow and Brownie Units which is our yearly fund raiser for our own unit and for Lorne
Headquarters. The Rainbows all got together as a County to hold a Rainbow Funday which was
held at Castle Saunderyjn. We continue as a unit to ensure that each girl 15 challenged to reach
her full potential and to be aware of those around her and be kind and helpful.

A review of the Charitrfs financial position at the end of the year
The opening balance as at the l April 2018 was 313.19
We as a unit partially funded the girl's contribution to the Rainbow Fund Day and we bought
various craft items and stationery.
The Closinq balance as at the 31" March 2019 was 247.85. There are no debts.
Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of the year
and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit
