Howard Primary School PTA Annual Report
Introduction The Howard Primary School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is delighted to present its annual report for the year. This report highlights the various events and initiatives undertaken by the PTA, showcasing our commitment to enhancing the educational experience for our students.
Events and Fundraisers

Christmas Disco Our annual Christmas Disco was a resounding success, bringing festive cheer to students, parents, and staff alike. The event featured music, dancing, and holidaythemed activities, creating a joyful atmosphere for everyone involved.

Fun Night Fun Night was another highlight of the year, offering a variety of games, activities, and entertainment for families. The event fostered a sense of community and provided an opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy a memorable evening.

Raffle This year we introduced a Christmas raffle which had very successful sales and a fabulous first prize of an over night stay at the Galgorm Hotel and Spa.
Fundraising Achievements
- Car Parking for Dungannon Swift's Football Matches One of our most substantial fundraising efforts came from providing car parking services for Dungannon Swift's football matches. This initiative raised a significant amount of money, which has been instrumental in supporting various school projects and activities.
2. Small Community Grant from Mid Ulster Council. We were successful in obtaining a small grant from our local council. This was used to extend the activities at our community fun night.

New outdoor playground markings With the funds raised through our events and initiatives, the PTA was able provide funding to cover the costs of new interactive playground markings. These markings have greatly enhanced the learning experience for our students while outside at break and lunch time.,

Conclusion The Howard Primary School PTA is proud of the accomplishments achieved this year. Our events and fundraising efforts have not only brought joy and excitement to our school community but have also made a tangible impact on the educational resources available to our students. We look forward to continuing our work and making even greater strides in the coming year.
