INTRODUCTION
This is the Trustees Annual Report as required by the Charity Commission Nl. This relates to the
financial year I'july 2021 to 30, June 2022.
This document has been prepared based on the guldance provided by the Charity Commission and
the trustees have had regard to the Commission's Public benefit requirement statutory guidance.

The Charity's activities are governed by Anahilt Primary School Parent Teacher Association
Constitution document.
Membershi
Members of the PTA are the parents or guardians of any pupil currently attending the school and
teaching and non-teaching staff currently employed by the school. The PTA works closely with the
school and the Principal and a teacher representative are included in the membership.

The purpose of the Association Ithe Purposes) is to advance the education of pupils in the school in
particular by..
Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the
school:
Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which 5UPPOrt the school and
advance the education of the pupils.
Public Benefit Statement
The trustees are pleased to report that during the year ended 30 June 2022 the activities of the
association continued to provide public benefit as set out below.
Improved relotionships between home ond school
The benefit which flows from this purpose includes funding for additional resources for the school
and links built with the local community. This is demonstrated through having an active PTA that
works in partnership with the school and engages parental support. This purpose does not lead to
harm. The benefit is for children at Anahilt Primary school
Advoncing the educotion of pupils in the school
The benefit which flows from this purpose includes increased educational progress and attainment
of pupils in the school and links built with the local community. This is demonstrated through pupils
having access to resources, event5, activities and links with the local community which are not
available through direct school funding. This purpose does not lead to harm. The benefit 15 for
children at Anahilt Primary school.
Charity trustees (PTA committee members) are also parents at the school which their children
attend and hence gain benefit in the same way as all other beneficiaries. This benefit is incidental
and necessary to ensure the benefit Is provided to all beneficiaries.

ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Fundraising activities for the year ended 30, June 2022 were as follows
Movie & Munch
Sale of uniform
Break the Rules day
Sale of photo Christmas cards
Sale of cookbooks
Cash for clobber
Sports day refreshments
Jubilee event
Hire of equipment
These activities generated £2,443 net of fundraising costs.
Charitable donations in the sum of £2,003 made during the year ended 30, June 2022 were as
follows

Sensory room expenditure
Wall mural expenditure
The PTA received grants during the year as follows
Grant from LCCC of £4,140 re Pergola
Grant from DAERA of £1,462 towards IPads/Sensory equipment
Grant of LCCC OF £400 received in year ended 30106121 was carried forward to thls year.
Sundry donations/income amounted to £411 and sundry/operatinE expenses amounted to £149.
As at the 30 June 2022 the association has cash reserves of £2,671 to be used for future activities.
Due to COVID 19 the PTA had not returned to its normal level of fundraising in this year.

Charity regulations require the trustees to prepare accounts tor each financial year. The trustees are
responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any
time the financial position of the charity and which comply with the Charities Act. They are also
responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the
prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
