Section B – Structure, Governance and Management

The Parent Teacher Association is made up of a group of volunteers inclusive of parents from the local area and teachers who work within the school and nursery. This team come together to help to raise funds to support St Joseph’s Primary School & Nursery Unit. We fund raise throughout the year and work with the school management team to provide financial support as required to the school and nursery unit to help to enhance the children’s education experience and the school facilities.

Section C – Public Benefit Requirement Statement

The trustees of the St Joseph’s Primary School and Nursery Unit PTA recognise that the requirement of this charity is to raise funding to support the advancement of education for the children within our local school and nursery unit.

Section D – Objectives & Activities

In FY2023-FY2024 we held the following fund-raising activities:

• Split the Pot

• Ticket Ballot at Christmas for Prizes

• Coffee Morning

• Book Fair

Accounts for Period Ending 31March2024 have already been summited to the Charity Commission. An individual Statement of Assets & Liabilities have also been submitted in Jan 2025.
