**Financial Year:** Sep 2021 to Aug 2022 

**Charity Purpose:** Improve relationships between home and Irvinestown Primary School and to advance the education of pupils in the school. The benefit which flows from this purpose includes funding for additional resources for the school, increased educational progress and attainment of pupils and links built with the local community. This is demonstrated through having an active PTA which works in partnership with the school, engages parental support and pupils having access to resources, events, activities and links with the local community.

2021/22 was again difficult year for raising money, however I would like to say thank you to everyone involved in continued development of Irvinestown Primary School. Well done and thank you very much for your continued support to enhance the schooling life and development of our children. 

Over the past year the PTA have had some positive feedback from parents, teachers, governors in our mission to be a successful PTA for the school raising valuable funds and I think we can say that we have achieved that. 



## **Summary of main events and events to further the charity’s purpose:** 

The regular meeting routines started again in 2021 but we were limited in terms of organising events and planning expenditure. 

The main source of funds came from our Christmas Quiz as well as the Easyfundraising app. 

This income helped to contribute towards the costs of: 

£ 317.97 School Projector £ 300.00 School Sports Kits £ 200.00 Jubilee Celebrations £ 715.00 Musical Pathways & Sing up Programme. 

## **Synopsis of charity’s financial position:** 

The sum of £9,522.50 was the opening balance for Irvinestown PTA.  During the year a total sum of income / funds raised was £823.80.  A total expenditure of £1,758.46 gave a closing balance of £8,587.94 to carry forward into the next financial year.
