Financial Review
At the start of the financial year on l April 2024, the Group held a balance of
£3,047.53 in unrestricted funds.
During the reporting period, total income amounted to £990.00, primarily
generated through membership fees. No restricted income or bank interest was
received during the year.
Total expenditure for the period was £1,159.46, comprising:
£1,118.00 in membership fees paid to Scouts UK
£41.46 in bank charges
As previously noted, the Group experienced difficulties accessing its bank
account during this period. As a result. financial activity was limited, and the only
transactions recorded were essential payments and bank charges.
At the end of the financial year on 31 March 2025, the Group held a closing
balance of £2,878.07.
The Group is now working, with support from the District, to restore full access
to banking arrangements and to ensure that appropriate financial controls and
processes are in place moving forward.
