## Groggan Primary School PTA 

Annual Report 

23[rd] October 2022 

2021/2022 was a slightly more normal year for the children at Groggan, as Covid restrictions began to ease we were able to enjoy more of what we have all taken for granted. 

In December 2021 we received the first instalment of our Live Here Love Here pollinator grant which was used to further enhance our outside garden for the children and community. We were able to purchase outdoor seating, planters, a piece of outdoor play equipment and plants and bulbs for the garden. The second payment of £2375 helped towards this expenditure. 

We were able to hold a Christmas raffle in December and were delighted to have our Christmas Card project returned, both activities returned a profit of £981.68. 

The PTA kindly paid for or Lexia and Accelerated Reader subscriptions for the year which amounted to £949.40. 

We used the remainder of our Sensory Kids Awards for All funding to purchase Sensory equipment for our Sensory Room and for individual classrooms. This amounted to £3429.44 and has been such an asset to the school and is used daily. 

We are as always indebted to our parents and families for supporting any of our fundraising ventures so generously and which to thank everyone who has supported the school in this academic year.
