Treasurer’s Report
L Maclean presented the Treasurer’s Report giving all financial details for the 2024/25 year, including all income and expenditure.
It was agreed by all present to fund First Aid Training for all school staff.
Breakfast with Santa
It was agreed to continue with breakfast baps, with the option to sit-in or take-away. Date: Saturday 6[th] December, 8am – 10am
Proposed sponsors/donors
300 Sausages – Overend Butchers, ML Richmond will ask Sandra
300 Bacon – Robert Overend, K Overend will arrange
1 large tin of beans – Hamilton’s, ML Richmond to ask Ruth
300 Eggs – Skea Eggs, ML Richmond to arrange
10 x 6 Pancakes – Genesis, L Maclean to arrange
25 litres pure orange juice, 6 x 2 litres milk - Fullans, P Calderwood to arrange Condiments, cooking oil, orange juice, tea/coffee – Muldoon’s, A Smyth to arrange Milk and possibly bread – Graham’s Spar, A Dempsey to arrange 250 baps – K Overend to arrange with Graham’s HAJ Repairs have agreed to sponsor Santa’s selection boxes. Gas rings and electric griddles as per last year, L Jackson and ? J Torrens Rota to follow. Similar roles as last year.
Other Fundraising suggestions
Tractor Run was discussed and decided against due to health & safety concerns regarding children around farm vehicles. A Fun Night was decided as an alternative with a sub-committee being created and led by A Smyth with the help of Jacqueline Overend, Classroom Assistant.
A Summer Ball was agreed to celebrate the 60[th] anniversary of Bellaghy Primary School. A Dempsey to confirm a date with The Royal Hotel, Cookstown. Proposed dates of 5[th] or 12[th] June 2026. Proposed music by DJ Mighty Quinn.
