All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Byelaws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.

A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
We had 30 Rainbows attending the unit each week on a regular basis.
Activities included: An Easter Hunt, Mothers Day and Christmas crafts, a dress up and dance charity Charity Trustees are aware of the guidance about the Commissions public benefit requirement fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer, a reading night, pre promise activities and promise badges presented, a statutory guidance trip to Pets at Home
Parties and celebrations for: Harvest, Halloween, Promise Night, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Thinking Day, Easter, Kings Coronation and End of Year party
Sports and Physical Activities: Dancing in the hall, a hunt outside with a treasure trail, games night
Annual Rainbow outing to Zoo where Rainbows met other girls and shared games and experiences
There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private benefit.
A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance
A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year
The overall position is healthy. There are no debts or reserves to record. The opening balance as at 1[st] September 2022 was £584.19 and closing balance as of 31 Aug 2022 was £1135.99
Hillsborough Rainbow Guides have no material deficit
Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of the year and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit
