The trU￿ceS (who are also the directors of The Fran¢ina Foundation for the purposes of company law} are
rcsponsible for preparing the trustees, report and th¢ financial Stsiements in accordance with th¢ United
Kingdom Accoun¢ing Standards (Unii¢d Kingdom Generally Acceptrd Acrounting Practice) alld applicable law
and regulations.
Cornpany law r¢quir¢s the twstees to prepare financial statetnents for eo¢h financial year. Under ¢ompany law
the ljwstees must not approve the fmancial slatements unless they are satTsfied thai they giv¢ a trne and fair view
of the stsie of affairs of the charitable cornpany and of its in¢oming resources and application of resouree5,

¢haritable company and enable them io ensure that the financial stsiements comply with the Companies Act
2006. They ar¢ also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the ¢haritable company and hence for taking
reasonable step5 for the preveniion and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
