A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

54 Guides and Rangers are in the Unit (Girls aged between 10 and 18), and they took part in a varied range of activities over the year. These included, cooking, games, crafts, bracelet making, campfire cooking, mountain walking, completing badges (both individually and as a unit), alongside church services and parties for special events. A group of girls attended the homecoming celebration for our local Olympians at the SSE Arena Belfast.

The Guides had a sleepover at W5, which they thoroughly enjoyed, although not much sleep was had.

There was a cinema trip, alongside the Brownies and Rainbows. We had a visit from Jurassic ark animal encounters, who brought along many exotic lizards, camelions and snakes which the girls got to hold, as well as learn all about them. 30 members enjoyed a weekend camping, staying at Lorne Estate, near Holywood. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their time away under canvas, some of whom were camping for the first time. They had lots of fun and activities around the campsite, as well as walks to the nearby beach, but they also enjoyed a day in Bangor, via train, to go swimming, shopping, and to the Pickie fun park.

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit.
