Girlguiding Ulstpr The flnanclal year the report relates to- for example, 1st April 2016 to 31 March 2017 1st July 2022- 31" June 2023 A summary of the ChariVs main artivities to further its purposes for the publlc benefit and the maln achlevements In the year 44 Guide and Ranger members are in the unit (girls aged between 10-19), and they all worked in groups completing many challenges working on our Guide Programme, to achieve badges. Alongside this they also participated in many fun activities. this year, such as baking, crafts, games. outings to the cinema, bring and buy sale, outdoor adventures on trails and having sausage sizzles, and making smores. An eventful year for our country, the girls participated in a wreath laying service with the British Legion to commemorate the late Queen, and held a street party to celebrate the coronation. The highlight of the year was our annual weekend camping. This year 32 members camped and enjoyed the fun activities. There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit. A ststement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commlsslon's Public Benefit requlrement statutory guidance Charity Trustees are aware of the guidance about the Commission's public benefit requirement statutory guidance. A review of the Charlvs financlal posltlon at the end of the year The overall position is healthy. There are no debs or resenies to record. The opening balance as at I" July 2022 was £4934.62 and the closin8 balance as at 31. June 2023 was £1000.38.
