The expression of the pretepts of the Chrlstlan rell8lon through engagement with the
general publlc, and In partlcular with the disadvantaged, the sick, the Èlderly and the
young is a publlc benefft. Th15 can be measured and evidenced through increased
social inte8ratlon and pastoral care delivered at the point of need. The dirert benefit
of participation In Church life includes the enjoyment of public worship and the gNing
and recelvln8 0 pastoral ministry, improved undÈrstandin8 of the values relatin8 to
civlc engagement, community cohesion and providing a bridge between dlverse
groups as well as improved educational outcomes throu8h the Church's mlnlstry of
teachln8.
The beneficlarles are the general publlc, and the publlc valuatlon of the benefits can
be evidenced through attendance at publlc worship, participation in Church
governance and wlllingness to support throu8h contributlons the contlnuln8 vthness
of the Churth. The wlder benefit to the public will outweigh any detriment arising in
the course of Chrlstlan outreach. Any private benefit arislng out of the fulfilment of
our Mlnistry or to lay staff Is essential to the fulfilment of the purpose of the
advancement of religion. No Trustees received remuneration, reward or other private
beneflt for carryln8 Out thelr Trustee responslbillty.

The direct benefits flowln8 from hls purpose Include the provision of archlve records,
publlc enloyment of cultural and hlstorlc bulldln8s and artefacts such as church plate,
furnishings and materlals as well as an overall improved appreclatlon of lon8Standln8
Chrlstian heritage.
This Is demonstrated through on-golng provision of access to records and the use
made of these records in, for example, research and genealo8y. through conseniatlon
efforts in respect of records, property and artefacts and the subsequent and
continued requests for access and use of our materials by wider society. There is no
harm arlsin8 from the purpose. The beneficiaries are the general public. No private
benefft is received by trustees fuffilllngtheirtru5tee responsibilities In respett of these
records, buildin85 or artefacts, but in the course of conservation and to make these
accessible to the public, the engagement of professlonal staff and servlces Is essentlal
but incidental to the fulfilment of the purpose.

As is detailed within the Charl￿$ financial return, our Accounts are in the black and
also have received the matured £20,OW investment referred wlthin last yearf5 report.
These monies can only and will be used in accordance with uses as detennined within
the Public beneflt statement.
The charlty operates three accounts; Current account which is the everyday workin8
account, the Molly tkjnaldson Mission account which 8enerates income through
fundraising initiatives/donation5 and for which we then are able to SUPPOrt Mission-
based charlties and other good causes and finally, the Cre88an Hall Management
committee account which supports activities for the benefit of the Parish community.
