Achievements and performance
Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development,
empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. As scouts we are guided by these values..
Integrity- We act with integrity., we are honest, trus￿OrthY and loyal Respect- We have self-respect for
others.
Care- we support others and take care of the world in which we live.
Belief - We explore our faiths, beliefs and attitudes.
Co-operation - We make a positive difference,. we co-operate with others and make friends
Financial review
Overall assets are up slightly from £119k to £122k (including the depreciated value of AV), as AV income
was slightly higher than outgoings
£58k vs £55. However, this fluctuates month-to-month, so
sometimes it can be slightly down. The main cash assets are the AV account (£31 k} and Fogarty
bequest {£24k) at the year-end. Generally, though AV is covering its costs, including some spending on
general maintenance and improvements. We would need to source additional funds for any larger
capital projects.
