The Scout gmup meet weekly in sertions:

Beavers
The youngest members, and generally rneet for an hour per week. They
enjoy all that Scouting has to offer; being introduced to outdoor
activities, havin8 the opportunity to be creative, explore their local
community.
Cub5
For Cubs, excitement and adventure are key. Their pro8ramme offers a
huge variety of activities Surrounding areas of fitne55, global and
beliefs- whilst allowing them to be creative and get involved in their
local communities.
Cubs are introduced to exciting outdoor skills and take part in
adventurous attivities, as well as camps and residential experience.
Scouts
Scouts aims to build and develop young people's confidence, sense of
adventure and outdoor 5ki115. as well as encouraging them to explore
their beliefs and attitudes and be creative. It offers them the
independence to put these skills into practice at camps.
Scouts are encouraged to work together and take the lead on all sorts
of projects. from comrnunity based work to planning game5 and
activities for their meetings.
Ex lorers
With the support. direction and guidance of Unit leaders, Explorer
Scouts are encouraged to lead themselves, design their own
programme and Work towards the top awards that Scouting offers.

Statutory Guidance
The benefit which flows from our purpose is that youn8 people are
empowered to make a positive contribution to society through beinB
engaged and supported in their personal developrnent, including
physically, intellectualty, socially and spiritually.
This benefit is demonstrated throu8h 5coutinB makln8 a positive impart
in our communities: preparing young people to be active citizens;
embracing and contributin8 to social change: being as diverse as the
omrnunitie5 in whid) we operates. These are evidenced by feedback
from our beneficiarie5 and the widercommunity.
There is no harm arising from our purp05e5. Scoutin8 operates within a
framework of safetyto enable young people to take part in
adventurous activities safely. Scoutin¢s beneficiaries are children and
young people. The only private benefrt from this purpose Is that Adult
Volunteers are trained to deliver the programme. but thi5 15 incidental

and necessary because it is needed to operate in toda(s soclety
workin8 With youn8 people.

approved independently by the Church Treasurer. The expenditure is
recelpt based and cheques are to be approved by 2 si8natories before
being cashed bythe Payee.

The main area5 of income arises from th¢ annual collcction of capitation fees, the donation from
Hill Str¢¢t Presbyterian Churc14 EdUc￿lon Authority Grdnts and Duke of Edinburgh.
The remaining income arises from contnl)ution5 associatal with scouting events.
The expenditure is to scouting headquarters to cover registration and iThsurance. Other areas covers
