Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people

A summary of the
Charity's main activities
and achievements in the
year
The Beaver and squirrel sertions of the group have remained
active during the year. The boys and girts benefrtted greatly
from art and multi sports workshops. The programme was
weLI balan￿ with sports. crafts. games. stories, sftnging. talks
and trips in order to educate and develop the children
physically. emotionally, socially, intellectually and spiritually.
Feedback from parents said the children always looked
forward to the weekly meetings plus all the other activities
and attendance was high throughout the year. Charity work
was also taken upon. Artivities included Halloween.
Christmas, Easter. Chinese New Year. St Patricks Day crafts
and parties plus outdoor artivities which included camps and
treasure hunts.
The Cub/Scout secbons once again due to not being able to
recruit new leaders have been unable to meet but we are
hopeful that there will be some new additions for September
2024 and that these sections wilL retum to being able to
restart.
