## Trustee Annual Report Form — Template 

This template is to provide guidance to units who are completing a Trustee Annual Report for the NI Charity Commission. If you do not wish to use this form please ensure that the headings in this guidance are followed when completing a Trustee Annual Report. 

All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws. 

The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can makea positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.

A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year 

! There were 37 girls in the unit. | Thecompleting girls enjoyedactivities a varied from andGirlguiding’s fun programmeprogramme throughout themes the year — Be Well, includingKnow games,Myself, craftsHave and Adventures, Take Action, Express Myself and Skills for My Future. 

All girls completed Girlguiding Ulster South County Challenge 25 pack and earned the badge. As a unit we worked on 2 Skill Builder badges — Know Myself, Reflect Stage 2 and Take Action, Influence Stage 2 and all girls achieved these badges. In addition, many girls achieved a variety of interest badges and 1 bronze award, 1 silver award and 1 gold award were presented. 

For their acts of kindness, the girls painted wooden flowers for the town community garden. They planted hyacinth bulbs which they then delivered to the local residential fold and entertained the residents by singing to them. They built birdhouses so they could feed the birds in winter and sowed wildflower seeds in planters for their own gardens to attract bees. 

They enjoyed an activity day at Lorne Estate, went to see Moana2 at the cinema, hada visit from a mobile zoo and increased their fitness thanks to 2 exercise classes froma local fitness instructor. The girls celebrated the unit’s 80" birthday with a carnival themed party. 

16 Brownies attended our weekend Pack Holiday at Lorne and an additional 14 joined us for the day on Saturday. We had an Easter themed weekend, and activities include the Zipline, wide games, challenges, making mosaic photo frames, egg rolling and the playpark. 

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit.
