2T￿ Donaghadee Scout Group has enjoyed a very busy.
interesting and varied programme this year wrth the
support of its section leadets and volunteers and on
many occasions pa￿nts were part of the team. The
Group has over 100 young people meeb.ng over two
nights to deliver the programme.
Squirrels aged 4 - 6 yrs
squir￿ls have a membership of 14. During the year
they had a packed programme for both indoor and
outdoor actNities to eam and complete their badge
work. This age group enjoys creatNe play actNities arKI
they attended organised District outdoor events.
Beavers aged 6 - 8 /2 yrs
The Beaver Colony has a membership of 29 and they
also completed badge work and enjoy&J a variety of
activib.es as well as having fvn both indoors and
outdoors. They ft￿USed on their health and fitness,
gardening skills, first aid as well as numerous
achievements and thallenge badges. 10 young people
successfully achieved their Chief Scout Bronze Awards.
Cubs aged 8,/2 - 10 yrs
The Cub section has a membership of 33 focusing
mainly on outdoor activities weather permitting and
achieving a number of challenge badges. 1 young
person successfully completed their Chief Scout Silver
Award.
Scouts aged 10 'A - 14 yrs
Scouts have a membership of 28 and have been active
in the outdoors completing an annual night walk and
hike to Crawfordsbum, then had an ovemight stsy. They
had camps in Crawfordsbum and the Moumes which
the young people thoroughly enjoyed. They have also
taken part in District and County acbvitses and the
competttions.
The whole Scout Group had a group ￿rnp in
Crawfordsbum in March with Scouts and Cubs camping
for the W￿kend, Beavers an ovemight stay and
Squirrels Joining in for a day partscipatsng in a number of
