the main achlevements In the year ended 31 December 2018
Beavers, aged 6-8, Cubs aged 8-10 112 and Scouts aged 10 % to 15 meet on Tuesday
nights. and there is a total membership of 50.
The benefitwhich flows from our purpose is that young people are empowered to make
a positive contribution to soclety through being engaged and supported in their personal
development, induding physically, intellectually, socially and splritually. The children
re8iStered with our group come from the local community. All are treated equally,
regardless of national background or religion.
We had another successfvl year with all Sections achleving our aims as listed in Scout HQ
Instrurtions. Badgework/outin8s/camps etc were participated in by all members and
greatly enjoyed by them. We have a full programme each week and take part in District
events also, which give the members the opportunity to mix with others in our Distrlct.
We have found the Members all very Interested In all activities arranged for them, and
Parents very supportive of all we are planning and completing for Members.
There was no harm flowing from the Charity's purposes and there vrds no prlvate benefit.
All Trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's Public Beneflt Guidance
We are attached to Sydenham Methodist Church, and as we use the Church Halls, our
Assets consist of our Bank Account which at 31, December 2018 was in Credit to the
amount of £3517.23 with no outstanding debts.
