TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE STRAIGHT FORWARD TRUST
I report on the financial ststements of the trust for the year ended 5 April 2024. vthich are set out on pages 7 to
13.

As the chariws trustees you are responslble for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities
Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
It is my responsibility lo:
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
{ii) follow the procedur6s laid down in the general dlrectlons given by the Charfty Commission for Northern
Ireland under section 6519)(bl of the Charltles Act
(iii) to state whether particular matters have come lo my attention.

I havè examined your charlty accounts as required under section 65 of the Charflles Act and my examinatlon was
carried out in accordance with the general DSrections given by the Charlty Commission for Northérn Iréland under
section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Acl. The examination included a review of the accountlng records kept by thè
charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideralion of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeking explanations from you as charlty trustees conceming
any such matters.
My role 18 to stste whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe:
1. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with sedion 63 of the Charities Act
2. That the accounts do not a¢cord wilh those accounting records
3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act
4. That there is further infomiation needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
