|**A summary of the**<br>**Charity’s main activities**<br>**and achievements in the**<br>**year**|_These are the main activities undertaken by this Charity to further_<br>_its charitable purposes for the public benefit of its beneficiaries._<br>_All Sections of the Group have remained active:_<br>_Squirrels (4-6), Beavers (6-8), Cubs (8-10), Scouts (10-14)._<br>_Section meetings take place weekly during term-time, following_<br>_a structured programme of age-related games and activities, to_<br>_engage and support young people in their personal development,_<br>_empowering them to make a positive contribution to society._<br>_During the year 1st April 2023-31st March 2024 All sections took_<br>_part in the annual youth service and they also made up_<br>_shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child._<br>_The Squirrel section enjoyed playing games, did artwork and_<br>_crafts, went to the Leisure Centre and worked towards their_<br>_badges. They completed the All About Adventure Challenge_<br>_Award, the Exciting Experiments Activity Badge  and the Gold_<br>_Wild activity badge. In addition, they completed the Get Creative_<br>_Badge and undertook the All About Me Challenge Award. They_<br>_joined with Beavers for a visit from a pantomime and had a_<br>_Christmas party._<br>The Beavers enjoyed a varied programme as they played games,<br>made a variety of crafts, learnt new skills, and complete several<br>Challenge and Activity badges. Throughout the year, we enjoyed<br>visits to Cookstown Leisure Centre for Ten pin Bowling and we<br>joined Beavers from around Northern Ireland for trips to<br>Crawfordsburn Scout Centre in May and Armagh Planetarium in<br>October.  At Beaver Rally Day at Crawfordsburn, we went on a<br>global adventure travelling around the world in a day.  We had a<br>great day taking part in different activities as we ‘visited’ different<br>continents and we had a noisy time playing African drums.<br>_It was a busy year in the Cub Scout calendar. They enjoyed a_<br>_camp at The Jungle  where they took part in activities such as_<br>_The High Ropes Course and Teambuilding games which helped_<br>_them to develop different skills and leadership qualities._<br>_At their weekly meetings they engaged in activities to allow_<br>_them to complete badge work. They also went to the Leisure_<br>_Centre to complete the Swimming badge.  At the end of the year_<br>_several of the Cub Scouts had completed the Chief Scout Silver_<br>_Award._|
