## **Trustee Annual Report: April 2023 to March 2024 for Belfast Formidable Sea Cadet Unit**

## **Purpose:** 

To promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure activities using a nautical theme.

Previous chair Mrs Gwen McGuicken resigned in April 2024, as did Ms Sophie McGuicken one of our trustees. 

After holding an EGM on 3[rd] July 2024 Mrs Claire Price was appointed Chair, and Mr Neal Johnston, Mrs Heather Fee and Mrs Judith Thompson were voted on as Trustees, in addition to the existing ones.

The charity had £62,117.85 in credit on 1[st] April 2023 and closing balance as at 31[st] March 2024 was £61,985.73 credit.
