Respective Responsibilities of Charity Trustees and Examlner.
As the chaTities trustees you are responsible for the preparation of accounts in 8ccord8nce y￿th the
Charities Act (Northern Irelend} 2008.
It is my responsibiltyto:
. examine the accounts undèr section 65 of the Charities Act.
. followthe procedures laid down In the gener8l Directions given by the Commi&8ion under section
65{9}Ib} of the Chertties Act.
. stste whether particular rnatteTS have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examlners Report.
I have examined your charty accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my
examination was carried out in accord8nce with the gener8l Dlrections yiven bythe Charty Commission
for NortheTn Ireland urKler section 65(9)(b) of the Ch8ritie8 Act.
My examlnetlon included a revlew of the accountlng records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
accounts presented with those records. It 8Lso included consideration of ary unusual Items or
disclosures in the 8ccounts, and seeking &¥pLanations from you as chaiitytrustees concerning and such
matters.
My role is to st8te whether any matsrial matters have come to my atterrtion giving me cause to believe:
1. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the CharitiesAct
2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records
3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the CharitiesAct
4. That there is further information needed for a proper understandlng of the accounts to be
reached.
