The objects of the Charity are to collect sums of money and to use and co-ordinate the use of resources for the purposes of assisting and supporting such Christian organisations and institutions as are in agreement with the statement of faith set out in the constitution document and as are charitable in law and such individuals as may be in need of financial support and assistance. The Commission's Public Benefit Requirement: The public benefits that flow from the charitVs purpose are provided interdenominationally and without prejudice. They have in common the advancement and furthering of publicly accessible Irish Christian religious worship/teaching, community, culture and pastoral care. The public benefits are specifically'.- Provision of quality Biblical education/training and leadership development directed towards the next generation of laity and leaders within the broad Irish church. Equipping and encouraging the development of vibrant, inclL3sive churches/publicly accessible communities of faith which support and care for the diverse personal needs of individual members and reach out to serve and strengthen their wider communities. In realising {il and (li) above, the support of selected individual Christian workers/volunteers in need of financial assistance. These individuals are recognised by the trustees as having both passion and ability in provisioning and facilitating our core charitable public benefits li) and lil) above. The activities of these individuals are, in and of themselves, of considerable public benefit to the communities they engage with. (Financial support of individuals is only provided where there is public welfare benefrt far in excess to the incidental private benefit gained by the recipients). These benefits can be evidenced in:_ Records kept at the Irish Bible Institute (ibi.ie) in relation to both staff who provide, and students who undertake, in-class/online training courses enabling them to better serve their individual churches and the local communities they socially enrich. Activity reports and attendance of various church fellowships throughout Ireland who have been supported by the charity such as Listowel Christian Fellowship (listowelchristianfellowship.ie) Reports on activity from individual Christian workers assisted by the charity. No harm arises from these purposes due primarily to their inclusivity and society/community enhancing nature. Irish Baptist Missions Worker- Christian training and social outreach NOTE.. Listowel Christian Fellowship- Public Worship and social outreach Within the accounting period ICCS received: Regular (standing order) donations totalling £28,752.80 from 19 individual donors. One off donations totalling £2,860. from 9 donors. The charity holds no other assets or investments save our bank account which showed a closing matching balance of £5,561.43. As is normal for ICCS, no loan or borrowing arrangements have been entered into during the accounting period. HMRC Gift Aid has been successfully claimed over the accounting period and all appropriate donor gift-aid declarations are on file.
