Cub Scouts meet on Monday evenings With the Squirrels and Beaver Scouts on Wednesday evenings with all Sections active from September to May / June each year. They learned some new games, celebrated the Chinese New Year and enjoyed the annual Easter Egg hunt. Then the Squirrels pitched a tent and made Ice cream Sunda along with the Beavers. Later in the year they took part In the first Lego L£ague and received some boxe5 Of Lego, these were used to make boats. bridges, roads. and Iorries and more. They worked on Challenge badges and learned about some local plac, and as part of the Group, s l 00 Birthday celebrations visited the Cinema with the Beavers and Cubs

Creative and Joining-In. Celebratsons followed foi St Patrick's Day, Pancake Day, Easter, St.George's Day and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Some programme themes were Code of ConducL Seasons, Harvest Picture Plates and decorating biscuits, Remembrance Day and Football World Cup - all linked to badges. Christmas crafts followed with gifts for the parents and a Christmas Party and the Group's l 00 Gelebration trip to the Cinema. CUB SCOUTS Leader 'chard Dean Kelly Frizell Amy M¢Larnon PUBLIC BENEFIT The year started with various Badge work and included the new Money badge, also collections,sports and hobbies evening was enjoyed by all. Our happy Cubs won the District Quiz and received a trophy for their hard work. A visit to the local Climbing wall, a Banbridge town walk and a Pizza party rounded off the season. With some new members Joining the ranks we continued with various games and activities and finished the year with a visit to the Cinema with Squirrels and Beavers.
