A summary of the Charftys maln actlvltles to further Its purposes for the publlc benefft and the
maln achlevements In the year
Throughout the year a number of units namely, Cullybackey Rainbows, Brownies & Guides.
Kllbrlde Rainbows, Ballymoney and Broughshane Rainbows and Look Wider groups all worked
towards various awards. One Guide member was selected to go on an orchestra trip and the
County made a donation to help with the cost of the trip. Two Guides were also selected to go
on an International trlp and the County made a donation to help with that also. The County held
a coffee morning for all ivs members in Toast Cullybackey and it was an opportunity for
members to relax and chat which was enjoyed by all. At the AGM a number of certificates and
awards were handed out- 5 leadership qualifications. 7 young leaderships, I going away with
certificate. 2 Queens Guide Awards. 4 DofE bronze and 6 DofE Silver. 2 leaders received their 20
year service award and 2 received thelr 10 year servlce award. One member received their 50
year service award. At the end of the year members of the county were invited to a wreath
making morning. Unfortunately. we had a number of units close this year due to lack of
volunteer5 or leaders. These units were Ahoghill Rainbows, 8allycastle Rainbows & Brownies
and Ballymena Brownies and Guides. The balance of these accounts were transferred to the
County account for holdlng. We also sold some county badges to Lorne for resale.
There was no harm flowing from the Charities purpose5 and that there was no private benefit.
