Key actlvltles/achlevements
Beaver Scout and Cub Scout section meetings took place weekly during term time throughout the year. Beavers and Cubs
participated in their section programmes covering a wide range of skills and activities, working towards their respective Challenge
Awards, as well as Activity Badges.
Beavers and Cubs had a number of opportunities for nights away experiences. Beavers and Cubs attended the Lagan District camp
at Ardnavally in June 2025. Cubs had an overnight stay at Crawfordsburn in October and a sleepover in January, both held jointly
th
with 68 Belfast Cubs. Beavers attended the Lagan District sleepover in February.
The Group also participated in District and Nl events and activities, including Nl Beaver Rally Day, and Nl Cub Activity Day, both at
Crawfordsburn in May 2025, as well as the District Christmas events at Ardnavally, and the Ardnavally Walk.
The Scout Group appreciates the support from Malone Church in the use of their premises.
The leadership in the sections has been ably supported by the Group Trustee Board.
Our thanks to the Fountainville Scout Development Trust for their continuing support.
The operation of the Scout Group depends on volunteers. Thank you to the leaders who give their time week by week to provide
a quality Scouting programme for the benefit of young people. Our thanks also to parents who have supported us as helpers
through the year.
