Key actlvltleslachlevements Beaver Scout and Cub Scout section meetings took place weekly during term time throughout the year. Beavers and Cubs participated in their section programmes working towards their respertive Challenge Awards. The small embryo Scout section which had restarted from January 2023 met through to June 2023. Highlights during the year included 44 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts attendingthe Lagan District Camp at Ardnavally in June. Beavers were also at the Nl Beaver Rally Day in May. In the Autumn, we started the new Scouting year with a visit frorn Fun with Drums for both Beavers and Cubs in September. Beavers took part in the Lagan District Hallowe'en event and sleepover, and in the District Beaver Christmas event at Ardnavally. Cubs had a special Christmas outdoor evening at Ardnavally also. During the year, both Beavers and Cubs visited a local foodbank. The Scout Group appreciates the support from Malone Church in the use of their premises. The leadership in the sertions has been ably supported by the Group Trustee Board. Our thanks to the Fountainville Scout Development Trust for their continuing support. The operation of the Scout Group depends on volunteers. Thank you to the leaders who give their time week by week to provide a quality Scouting programme for the benefit of young people. Our thanks also to parents who have supported u5 as helpers through the year.
