hèads but most of us afe still hero wtsth ihe full inlention of streing Autism Familie5 Continue
as a successful local charity. And I would like the Ihank the committee and volunteers for all
their hard work d¥Jrin8 the last 13 or 14 months since oui last AGM.
I'd also like thè thank our olher committee members, Maithew. Marianne, Lorraine. Jolene
and sharon.who stepped doivn durin8 the year for their haid work and committment also.
In pariicular Sharon or Sha22a. our thoughts are with her and her ongoing health issue and
we look forward to a full recovery and to see her back wilh us once again soon.
During the year we fan our monthly kids club in the Brain Injury Foundation in Camlou8h.
Each monih we'd brtng in some outslde eniertainment, such as drummin8, animals. danang.
visits from the PSNI and the Fire Service. among other5 and ihese were always well aitended
at each tlub. There were othef months where we created our own entertasnment such as
arts and crafts and Eamine and these were alw successlul clubs. Our Halloween. Easter and
Christmas parties were huge successes and we created our own Santa's grotto last year
which was a big hit. It's ha5 also been luined into a temporary sensory room which is an
ongoing project.
In Janurary we had anothervisit to the Grand Opera House in 8elfast to see a relaxed viewing
ol the Panto Cindere113 which wa5 a huge hil. 2023 5aiv another sutces5ful summer s¢herne
which included a irip io Dublin Zoo, Sealorde Butterfly House. Streamvale Farm and Emerald
Park to name a few.
Regular Sunday morning relaxed Cinema vie%Yin8s and also Bowlsng lor the (her IO'S once
aEain Pfoved very popular and we are currently in the midsi of a six week Cookery program
for OUT over IO'S which is enjoyed immensly by both parents and kid5.
I'd like once a8ain to extend our gratitude lo"The BTain Injury Foundation. for allowing us
Ihe use of iheir excellent premises in Camlou8h, without which would not be enjoying the
succes5 we currently have so a huge thank you to Ihem and long may this last.
Also hu8e thanks again to our committee for the last Iwelve months and in particular a huge
debi of gratitude io our treasurer Rita, Ylho is stepping down due lo woik commillments
alier many years with our ecoup. but she viorit be loo far away if ever wo need any ftnancial
advise ol course. Mates raies apparently she says.
Going fotward into 20241've no doubl WLI will Iiave continued success and hope to enlarge
our committee as there'5 one or two ideas in ihe eaily stages which may come into fruilion
