The Group Executive Committee has identified the maj
risks lo which they believe the Group is exposed. these
have been ieviewed and 8yslems have been established lo
miligale against them. The main areas of concern that have
been idenlffièd are-
Damage to the building, wopety and tquipmenl. The
Group ￿Uld reque81 the use of bulldlngs, property and
equipment from neighbouring org8nisations 8Ltch as thé
church, community centre and other Scout Groups. Similar
reGiproc81 arrangem8nls exist with these organisations, The
Group has sufficient buildings and cont6nls insuran¢$ in

Group through th& capilalion fees contributes to the Scout
Associations nollonal accident in8urance policy. Risk

rglianl upon income from sub5criplions and fundraising. The
group does hold a reserve lo ensure the conlinuily of

Commrtlee could raise the value of 8ubscriplion$ lo
Incroase the In¢ome lo the group on an ongolng bas18,
either temporarily w p&rm8nenlly.

upon volunteer8 to run and administer the 8clivitie5 Of the
group. If there wa8 a redudion in the number of leaders to
an unacceplable18vel in a Part￿ular section or the group a8

consolidation or closure of a $eclion. In the worst case
scenario the complete c108ur6 of the Group.
Reduelion of108s ol members. The Group provides
aclivilie5 for all young people aged 610 14. If there was
reduction in membership irb 4 Particular section or the group
as whole then there would have lo be a contraction,
consolidatson or closure of a section. In the wor8t case

designed to provide reasonable assurance against material
mismanagement or loss, these include 2 Signatories for all
payments and a comprehensive insuranc6 policies to
