Purpose of the charity is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens of their local, national and international communities.

Summary of each section 

Beavers. 

Outings to Crawfordsburn forest adventure walk. 

Christmas at Ardnavally outing. 

Visit of Guide dogs for the blind. 

Making crafts for Halloween and Christmas 

Taking part in District events competitions. 

3 hour mini camp 

Cubs 

Lots of activity and badge nights. 



First aid training. 

Entering a team in the cub county flag 

Weekend camps at Slievenaman & Ardnavally campsites 

Church inter-faith visits 

Visit to Tollymore wood 

Scouts. 

Entering and competing in the Belfast County flag competition Four weekend camps a year. Slievenaman and Crawfordsburn. 

Trips out to Killyneather forest. 

Day trip to Tollymore forest park and Bloody bridge in Newcastle. 

Rafting and bouldering activities. 

Sailing courses at Killyleagh Sailing association. 

Attendance at District and County events. Including Archery, climbing. 

Explorers. 

Back woods training 

Training nights. 

Camping at Crawfordsburn. 

Climbing night.
