The Trustees of the Holy Cross Accordion Band Atticall present their report for the
year ended 31st March 2025.
STRUCTURE. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
The Charity was registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland on 2nd
of December 2015. The Charity's governing document is the Constitution.
Holy Cross Accordion Band Atticall is a a youth band that leams music and marching
techniques and enters competitions and accepts invitations to participate in parades
providing entertainment to the public.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
The objective of the charity is to encourage the youth of the area to join a team and
learn music by playing a number of various instruments or train to be a majorette or
flag carrier in the colour guard. The charities aim is to advance the education and
raise the level of artistic taste of the general public in appreciation of music by
performing music of a high quality to a high stsndard through the medium of the
accordion band.

AcHIEVEmE￿r AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable activities
Practice takes pla￿ on a weekly basis and the tuition is provided by three qualified
and eXperIen￿d original band members. Our new members can choose to learn the
accordion or tin whistle and all members learn to March in conjunction with the music
and instruction.
Our ethos still remains the same to enjoy learning music, making friends and
creating memories that last forever.
PUBLIC BENEFIT STATEMENT
In setting objectives and planning activities for the year the Trustees have given
careful consideration to the Charity Commission for Northem Ireland's guidance on
public benefit and are confident that the activities have helped to achieve the
charity's purposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries.
FINANCIAL RESULTS
The main source of income of the charity is from weekly lotto and tuition fees.
FINANCIAL RESERVES
The Charity does not have a specific policy on reserves, but the Treasurer aims to
maintain enough money in the bank account to fund all forthcoming expenses.

Independent examiners report to the eharity trustees of Holy Cross Accordion Band Atticall
I report on the accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025 set out on pages 2 to 3.
Respective responsibiliti￿ of trustees and examiner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with
Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under Section 65 of the 2008 Act
to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity
Commission (under Section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act). and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of the independent examiner's report
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my
examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity
Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65{9)(b) of the Charities Act.
My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison
of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or
disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any
such matters.
My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to
believe:
l. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act
2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records
3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act
4. That there is further inforniation needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination and have no concerns in respect of the matters (l) to (4) listed
above and, in connection with following the Directions of the Charity Commission for Northern
Ireland, I have found no matters that require drawing to your attention.
