The Trustees, Report contains the Inf0ma￿On required to be provided in the Trustees, Annual Repcrt under the
Statement of ReC￿mMended Practlce ISORP) guidelines. The trustees of the tharity are also charity trustees for the
purpose of charity law and under the charity's ￿nS11tU￿n are known as membets of the txiard of trustees.
In this report the trustees of McDonnell Trust 2010 present a summary of ts purpose. governance, activit￿,
achievernenls and finan￿$ for the finanaal year 5 Apfil 2024.
The charity is a regIst￿ed tharity and although not obliged lo comply with the Statemenl of Recowttnended Practtce
for Smaller Entities (the FRSSE) (effective 1 January 2015). the organisation has implemented its recommendations
where retevant in these financial statements.
Mission, Objectives and Strategy

The objects and powers of the charfty are the ed￿tion and mairrtenance of any Roman Catholic students attendiryJ
any educational eslablishment In Ireland. particularty for studerrts studwng for Roman Calholic prlesthood or other
religious life. The Trust enables students to develop their spiritual capac¢ties through attendance at educational
eslablishmenls. The direct benefit flowing from Ihe charitable purpose of the Tfusl are of a PastQTal, edutzti¢)nal and
spiritual nature which from the students to enhance their Fersonal development. sccial skills. faith and spiritual Iwes.
Wrthout the support of the Trust. many of the individuals would not be wi a position to complete their sbjdies, The
objectives also facilitate the adoption of a moral framework which encourajes individuals to be good cittiens and
thefe is a wider benefit to society when indiwduals progress to rdigious Ufe. The Public Benefit is demonstrated when
the Individuals are ordained and take up posls efther In a Diocesan or a Misstonary Role and they are then in a
position lo educate and influence others in a positive marner. or other religious lrfe. or such other Catholic charitable
purposes as the trustees may select from time to time.

expenditure in greater detall.
Results and Dividends
Al the end of ihe finandal year the chaity has assets of £402.746 (2023 - £377.283) and liabli ities of £735 (2023 -
£735). The nel assets of the charty have in¢rea5ed by £25.463.
