The Beaver, Cub, Scout & Explorer Secti(￿S. aclivnic5 were based on the SLX)Ut movement's progressive
programme which focu&8es on a variety of age-appropTiate profici￿rY badge4 all of which aim to develop
teamworL go￿ citizenship and an awaren￿ of that irnpaet the wider society. Activities in the
Beaver, Cub and SLx)ut wtiotts were b&sed up)n a mixtiwe of badge work training and testing. games which
achieve both Physi￿ and mentsl development and promote teamworK topical di￿￿10n& outings which
lake in asrKcts of I￿1 inta4 public arnenities and gain an understanding of the 0[￿lI0n of public
services such as Fire Brigadc. Police or Ambulance servi￿ in &ldition all sections nornially participate in
Scoui District cr County events and competition& The Explorer scouts actively assisted in the other sections
