Governing document and summary purposes of the charity
Friends of Holy Family is constituted under a Constitution adopted at an Exlraordinary General
meeting on 31 July 2015.
The purpose of Friends of Holy Family is to advan￿ the education of pupils in
Holy Family Primary School. in particular by:
Developing effective relationships be￿een the staff, parents and others associated with
the school.,
Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and
8dvance the education of the pupils.
These purposes are carried out by-.
1. Fundraising for resources within the School
2. Helping in and around the school as required and facilitating communication between
teaching staff and parents in relalion to the educalion and needs of the children at the
School..
3. Providing opportunities for social events / networking for children, parents and teachers
within the School.
Public Benefit
Friends of Holy Family met regularly this year to discuss and plan for events throughout the
year. During planning the trustees had a regard to the Charity Commission Nl's 'Public Benefit
requirement, statutory guidance.
Activities Achievements and Outcomes
As Covid-19 restrictions were still in place during this part of this period so we could not hold
many of our usual activities for fund raising. Nor meet in person
We did however manage to hold a Christmas Raffle, Summer raffle and an end of term school
disco as Covid restrictions had been lifted By June.
As usual The Holy Family Staff. Parents. Carers and local community did not let us down with
their generosity.
As per Covid-19 restriction we could not hold our annual social gathering after the First Holy
Communion service.
