First Ballyelare (Hlgh School) Scout Report 2021
Membership bounced back in the second half of the year, up to pre Covid
levels, with 55 Group members.
There was Ilmited activity in the first half of the year although some vlrtual
meetings continued but Ot was great to resume indoor meetings in the Autumn./
A return to being able to use the school facilities was greatly appreciated.
Badge work got started again and the delight of being involved again was there
for all to see, although Covid precautions were still observed.
District events had not yet started but were much anticipated.
Once again tribute must be paid to the loyal leaders who faithfully give of thelr
time and talent to ensure that
Scouting in Ballyclare remains available.
With a limited programme and subscriptions well down. but payments to
Headquarters still required, the Group finances were down
slightly but still remain healthy.
