**Purposes:** The Association is established to promote the benefit of cancer suffers, family members and carers inhabitants of the area without distinction of sex, race or of political, religious or other opinion, by associating together the said inhabitants and statutory authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to combat social isolation and engage the group in social, recreational, health, support and educational pursuits in order to enhance the quality of life and promote a vibrant and health community spirit.
