Activities
The Group is established for the relief of disability among people with visual impairment in the Armagh and Dungannon and surrounding areas (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") and to promote the protection and preservation of health of such persons and their families and for the advancement of education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and in particular: a) To foster an atmosphere of mutual support among families of a person with visual impairment or sight disability and encourage them to provide mutual support and encouragement to each other; b) To raise awareness for the benefit of the public about the needs and experiences of people with visual impairment or sight disability.
